Capacity

We support you to transform the way you communicate over the short and long term.

Delivering captivating comms on a project that is being shaped and re-shaped is no mean feat, but [Grey Fox] delivered, and delivered in style.

Working at pace and with creativity, [they] ensured that regular updates, people stories and technical information were shared with staff, stakeholders and residents. Bringing Liverpool City Council’s transformation journey to life was their task and [they] made it look easy as [they] produced copy, press releases, video and resident engagement sessions.

Interim Capacity Support

If you need short-to-medium term regular support to bolster your communications team’s capabilities, we can help.

Whether it’s to lead a particular project as an embedded member of your team, to provide cover during a busy period, we have the experience, empathy and insight to add value and expertise to whatever challenge you face.

  • We provided communications leadership and ongoing support for the Council’s Transformation programme; one of the most extensive and ambitious of any in the country, over a 12 month period.

It involved working as part of the Council’s renowned Communications Team, and working with Heads of Service to develop a Communications Strategy, and a range of planned and opportunistic comms content over the 12 month period.

It involved providing updates and attending the Council’s bi-monthly Transformation Programme Board.

  • Over a six-month period, we provided regular and intensive support to help develop the Cancer Alliance’s revised communications strategy, lead the development of their refreshed website, and to coordinate national patient information campaigns across the regional footprint.

Providing support during the pandemic, we liaised regularly with NHS England at a regional and a national level to tailor recovery and prevention messages locally. We also helped to oversee the development of the Cancer Alliance’s new website.

Communications Diagnostics

If you’re creating a new team, adapting to life working as part of a formalised partnership (such as in an Integrated Care System), or just need some support to rekindle your passion for communications again; we can provide an expert, impartial perspective to help you to build on new opportunities, and identify and meet your challenges head on.

We can help you to up-skill, create new ways of working, and keep your comms hitting the mark, whatever your situation.

  • We worked with comms professionals across the new Integrated Care System in Humber and North Yorkshire to co-produce a way to share intelligence, skills and capacity, to benefit everyone across all partners.

Through facilitating workshops and undertaking a broad range of in-depth one-to-one conversations, we found commonalities, created themes, and formulated agreed protocols of working that have led to more consistent and better resourced communications activity across the whole system.

  • We worked closely with the team at HInM to co-produce a better way of working as they moved towards launching a new communications strategy.

Through a workshop exercise we uncovered the team’s motivations, favoured ways of working, and skills; to deliver a refreshed agreed protocol for how communications should be delivered, including new approaches to commissioning, collaboration and evaluation.

Let’s do good better, together.
