NHS North West London

Health and Social Care Academy Campaign

We delivered an animated recruitment campaign helping care leavers explore health and care careers, exceeding the registration target by 75%.

The Challenge:

The North West London Health and Social Care Academy (led by NHS North West London) wanted to encourage care leavers to join a supported apprenticeship scheme, with a target of 40 registrations. Our campaign needed to make health and care careers feel accessible, demonstrate the support available and show young people how their experiences could become strengths.

The Approach:

We created three short animated adverts, combining encouraging messages with characters reflecting the diversity of local communities. Each explored a different aspect of the opportunity, from recognising personal strengths to imagining a future in health and care.

We managed targeted Snapchat advertising across North West London, moving from the first client conversation to campaign launch in just two weeks. The campaign ran from December 2023 to January 2024.

The Outcomes:

The Snapchat campaign generated 439,058 impressions, reached 218,715 people and delivered 27,652 video views and 6,934 clicks.

Registrations reached 70 against a target of 40, exceeding the target by 75%. Of those registered, 35 young people were supported into employment, volunteering, training or work experience.

“North West London (NWL) Health & Social Care Academy has been delighted to work with Grey Fox to develop bespoke content for our website and also a dedicated careers festival across our integrated Care System.

With their support we were able to represent our 11 partners NHS Trusts in the NWL area, Primary care and Social care with an animation which described the Academy for stakeholders and learners. Showcasing our work has been an enabler to attract more of our local community into education, training and meaningful employment.

We would highly recommend Grey Fox – their creativity & professionalism has really enhanced our work”
